Two shots rang in the dark, ending the lives
of Thomas and Martha Wayne. The only survivor
was their child Bruce. Scarred permanently
from that tragedy and driven by revenge he
would later become the urban myth, Batman.
The caped vigilante rules the Gotham night,
trying to keep the city safe and the crime
at bay. By day Bruce Wayne is Gotham's golden
boy, the head of such things as Wayne Enterprises
and Wayne Foundation. In both of his forms
the Batman strives to make the city a better,
safer place to live in.
Recently, in the wake of
the No Man's Land
and being kidnapped at
the hands of Hugo
Strange, Bruce Wayne was
assigned a bodyguard
by the Watne Enterprises
Board of Directors.
Hand-picked by Lucius Fox,
Sasha Bordeaux
served as teh Dark Knight's
Personal Security
Assistant, then as more
when she discovered
his secret.
Training Sasha to run the rooftops with him,
he has kept her isolated from the rest of
the Batfamily, leaving them unawares of her
existence or her knowledge of his identity.
When he was arrested for the murder of Vesper
Fairchild, Sasha kept his secret, going to
prison alongside him for it. Though he escaped,
it remains to be seen what will happen to
Sasha, as he has renounced his Bruce Wayne
identity, seemingly for good. |
