Once she was the Dark Knight Damsel herself,
the original Batgirl, but after the Joker
put a bullet through her spine and relegated
her to a wheelchair for the rest of her life,
Barbara Gordon rediscovered herself as the
Information Broker and superhacker known
as Oracle. Providing information for the
Batfamily and the Birds of Prey, as well
as the Justice League of America, she has
become a necessity in crimefighting circles.
While investigating the murder of Vesper
Fairchild to try and prove Bruce Wayne innocent,
Oracle visited Sasha in Blackgate Prison
to try and get any information on the murder
from someone who was there. Batman kept Sasha's
knowledge of his identity and her joining
him in crimefighting a secret from his estranged
"family" and while both trying
to protect his secret, Babs and Sasha got
off on very bad footing with each other.
Their conversation was heated, both assuming
the other was hiding something (true) and
that they were out to harm Bruce (false).
Who knows if they will clear things up in
the future?
