Welcome to the Columns section of the Sasha Bordeaux Fan Site. Here you can find the latest submissions to the site regarding our gal Sasha, as well as other members of the Batfamily, themes in the Bat-verse and the DC Universe, and other elements of Comicdom. They are presented in both recurring monthly and guest columns. Below are listed the Columns for this site. Click on the column name to go to the newest column and have access to the column archives.
Deconstructing Sasha Bordeaux - By Bridget Haines [April 8, 2002]
This month's installment is a mental and behavioral comparison between Sasha and Batman/Bruce Wayne.(This Monthly column takes a look at Sasha Bordeaux and the various faces the woman wears. It looks at her from an overall aspect inside and outside of current continuity, as well as attempting to define and better understand the character and her relationships with other Bat Family members.)
The Cover Files - By Bridget Haines [March 15, 2002]
The latest installment looks at Sasha's involvement in the February release titles bearing April Cover Dates. (This Monthly column investigates and analyzes Sasha Bordeaux's behaviors in the past month's Bat Books. It rationalizes her actions and thoughts based on prior continuity and referencing former issues of the various comics she has appeared in.)
Gotham Exposé - By Regular and Guest Columnists [COMING SOON!]
Various contributors take their shot at breaking down the denizens of Gotham City by taking a psychological jaunt in their boots over recent actions in comics, or long-standing situations in continuity. They will try to give their answers to the questions raging in our heads. (i.e. does the Joker really have feelings for Harley Quinn, why did Batman let Sasha run the rooftops, or why did Nightwing join the Bludhaven PD and really strain his schedule? .
Critics Corner - By Regular and Guest Columnists [March 19, 2002]
The latest entry in this column is a Rant about what Comic Colorists have to go through, by an anonymous industry professional in the comics business! (Readers and regular columnists are encourged to submit their articles on the bad gaffs and miserable moves in the Bat Family comics. These tirades range from the likes of chides about choices in new artists and debacles of departing writers, to continuity chaos and costume criticism! From the comical to the constructive this is where readers give a whap upside the head to those controlling our favorite characters. These are not to be complete comic reviews, (see the reviews section for those) but more about specific incidents (like what were they thinking when they let McCarthy draw Nightwing, or whose design idea was it to put swimming goggles on Catwoman's new costume?).)
