  • FAN PAGE UPDATE: Sorry for the long delay again. Life seems to be conspiring against me. I still need reviewers badly, so if anyone wishes to contribute to this site, please let me know via emailing me at haines@ev1.net. Also, funky things seem to be happening with my webhost so I'm sort of sitting things out til that gets fixed. Here is the long overdue review for TEC 773 though, and 774 and Batman 606 will follow when host problems cease.

  • FAN PAGE UPDATE: Well my health is slowly getting back to normal after undergoing a medical procedure. But I'm woefully behind here, and I've lost my Gotham Knights reviewer who has dropped the book with the start of the new writer. Due to a lack of reviewers, I will likely cease to update this page much, especially if Sasha's presence in the books ends. I'll continue to make updates on Batman and 'TEC until this happens, but they may come slowly so please bear with me. I'll have last month's 'TEC and Batman reviews by next weekend, once I pick up my backlog of books.

  • FAN PAGE UPDATE: I've caught up a little here, but due to time constraints and other issues, I've decided to stop reviewing Nightwing and Catwoman. If you, or someone you know would like to pick up reviewing these two titles, or Birds of Prey, Batgirl, Robin, or Legends of the Dark Knight, please contact me at haines@ev1.net. Do the same if you know anyone who wishes to contribute to any of the columns, fan art, or fan fiction as well!

  • FAN PAGE UPDATE: I wholeheartedly apologize for the lack of updates to this site recently. On top of being buried under a pile of overtime at work, I have had a medical condition, as yet not fully determined, descend upon me. I will be trying my best to get some updates in this coming weekend, including a Gotham Knights review from Corey Butler. In the meantime I just want to gloat over my many months old theory on those responsible for Vesper Fairchild's death being correct, when so many folks told me I was crazy!

  • Columns - New Critics' Corner column published, a rant by a current comic book colorist who wishes to remain anonymous, but who wants to let folks know how tough it can be in the business for the folks who make the pages bright!.

  • FAN PAGE UPDATE:*Grumble* It seems that the machine hosting our site is having some issues. Yesterday I couldn't access it through FTP, and today some of the areas of the page (including the areas the reviews below are contained in) are inaccessible. Hopefully this will clear up quickly.

  • FAN PAGE UPDATE: My apologies again after a 2 week vacation followed by 2 weeks of being sick. That absence has left me a great deal of back work on items other than this site. I'm slowly trying to get out from under the pile though, and there should be more reviews coming up this weekend, but for now, it seems Sasha has another appearance in the upcoming Detective Comics #773...though things don't look too good for our heroine. Here is the description and the cover image off of Comics Continuum's site. Release date is August 7th.

DETECTIVE COMICS #773

Written by Greg Rucka and John Francis Moore; art by Steve Leiber, Stefano Gaudiano, Mark McKenna, and Rick Hoberg; cover by Bill Sienkiewicz.

As the GCPD prepares to make a major announcement, Sasha Bordeaux - Bruce Wayne's bodyguard - sits in a maximum security penitentiary. Will she survive in a hellhole populated by some of America's most dangerous women -- including the deadly Cucilla? Plus, a backup story written by John Francis Moore with art by Stefano Gaudiano & Rick Hoberg introduces a new vigilante to the streets of Gotham. Can Batman handle the competition?

  • FAN PAGE UPDATE: My apologies for the recent lag in updates to the site. After my return from vacation, I managed to get bronchitis, a sinus infection, an upper respitory infection, and swollen glands. I've gone to the doctor since then and am getting better, but I have a lot of catchup to do! Bear with me please, and the site is very much looking for submissions from reviewers, columnists, fan fiction writers, and fan artists!
